1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the BabyInsight mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
BabyInsight is a baby health tracking application that provides:
- AI-powered stool analysis for informational purposes
- Feeding, sleep, and growth tracking
- Vaccine and medicine management
- AI health chat for general parenting information
- Health reports and trend analysis
3. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: BabyInsight is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical diagnoses.
The AI analysis, health insights, and information provided by the App are for general educational and informational purposes only. They are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of your pediatrician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding your baby's health. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or received from this App.
In case of a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
4. User Accounts
- You must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In to use the App
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the App
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You agree to provide accurate information in your baby profiles
5. Subscriptions & Payments
5.1 Free Plan
BabyInsight offers a free plan with limited features, including basic tracking, limited AI analysis, and a single baby profile.
5.2 Premium Subscription
- Premium subscriptions are available on a monthly ($6.99/month) or yearly ($39.99/year) basis
- Payment is processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings
5.3 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by the respective app stores (Google Play or Apple App Store) according to their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the App's security
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, content, and AI models, is the intellectual property of BabyInsight. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BabyInsight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, health complications, or damages arising from reliance on the App's AI analysis or health information.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App includes offline functionality, and data synchronization occurs when connectivity is available. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the service provider is established, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
