BabyInsight uses the World Health Organization (WHO) Child Growth Standards, which are the international benchmark for monitoring child growth from birth to 5 years.
A percentile shows where your baby falls compared to other babies of the same age and sex. For example, if your baby is in the 75th percentile for weight, they weigh more than 75% of babies their age. Any percentile between 3rd and 97th is generally considered normal.
Monthly measurements are recommended for the first year, and every 2-3 months after that. Your pediatrician will also take measurements at each well-baby visit.
